This painting is finally finished. I finished it this afternoon in our Thursday afternoon painting group with the Muses. I am calling it Grunge Truck, because that is what Pamela titled the photograph. The painting is 22" x 28" and is painted on 300 lb. Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper. Many thanks to Pamela for the source photo and to Brenda Vogt for the very wonderful sheet of watercolor paper. This painting was a challenge, but I am happy with the results.
Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

Barb, I don't like this painting, I LOVE it!
Wonderful finish, Barb. I would have left the building behind unfinished but you did just enough and not too much to it :) Beautiful colors, wood textures, grasses, everthing!! And it's a good size to put in a show :)
