This is todays offering to the Muses - I still had my palette out today that I used for yesterday's painting - Primary Pomegranate - and couldn't resist doing another oil painting with the paint I had left. The funny thing is -it doesn't look at all like yesterday's painting.
This is 6" x 6" and is painted on a canvas panel.

It doesn't look like the same palette - and I think I like this one even more, the glowing warmth on the fruit is really beautiful and I like the blues, greens, violets in the background.
Yes - I like this better too. I tried to get in as many muted colors as I could - thus the "rainbow fruit" title. :-0
