Today's post, titled "Not Everything is Black and White", is my statement on the political scene in the United States today. I will say no more on that issue. The painting is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper and is monochromatic - painted entirely in shades of sepia.
Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

Very nice. I look forward too seeing more of your monochromatic works!
Love the light on her face and her looking towards the light...perhaps still hopeful? Beautiful - you should do more drawings/paintings like this.
Tim...glad you like my monochromatic work - you probably will see more of it!
Rhonda ...Yes - EVER hopeful! Thanks for the encouragement to do more of this type!
