Drawing for Watercolor Demonstration: WIP

This is what I worked on today - it is a drawing in progress for a watercolor demonstration I am going to do in pouring liquid acrylics.  The demonstration is scheduled for March, but this part of the process takes a lot of time.  I will still have to masque out the areas I want to remain white before I pour and this will come after the drawing is complete.  This drawing is of two lush flowers with leaves and buds, but it is difficult to see at this point.  This painting is on a full sheet (22" x 30") 140 lb. cold-pressed Canson watercolor paper and the drawing is a grided drawing using a 2B pencil.

What a tease! We have to wait for March to see this one?

Rhonda - I never looked at this that way...tee hee!
It takes so long to draw - especially on a full sheet that I thought I had better get going on it! :)

Rhonda is right...how can we wait until March? :-) I think that you have inspired me to do a small poured painting of my own until March gets here!
This will be impressive on a full sheet.

Christiane...I am anxious to see yours and it is very satisfying for me to know that I have inspired you - it's the teacher in me, you know! :-D
