Blue Mug With Two Brown Eggs

Today's offering to the muses - 6" x 8" - is painted on 140 lb. Canson Tientes cold-pressed watercolor paper.  It is painted from a Wet Canvas reference photo by Bortai.

Love the looseness with which you painted the bg. Not too sure about the almost outlines around the egg in places???

Janet - I was also happy with the background and unhappy with the lines around the eggs. I obsessed over these eggs - the paint persisted in accumulating on the edges - which caused a darker lined area - you probably know what I am talking about. Because they were so hard to paint I decided to just leave them alone. I also don't like the line on the light side of the mug. Thanks for commenting.

Hi Barb, I like this very much. The line doesn't bother me at all. It gives the composition a modern look. I think it's wonderful!
