The Diva's Challenge is to recognize National Coming Out Day...she received this nice note from a young man:
"I think it would be a good way to further inspire tanglers and raise awareness if you considered a challenge to somehow put some aspect of LGBT in a tile. Perhaps using the colors of the rainbow, or using tangles that start with L, G, B, and T, or using those letters as a string? "
So - this is my answer to the challenge - lots of color representing the rainbow and an abstract-type of rainbow over the color. I used Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper 8" x 2" and used transparent watercolors and Micron-pigma black pens.
Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

love your abstract rainbow and your subtle use of colour - very pretty
Beautiful and very elegant! Wonderful coloured background!
Although I am traveling right now, I want to try one too.
I threw a small set of travel Watercolors and a water pen in my bag...I am inspired by your lovely ZIA.
Beautiful Tile, Barb. Love your sweeping, smooth, line work and swirls. Lovely delicate colors. Wonderful design.
A lovely zia this is; lovely soft colors and I think the tears in it tell a lot.
Elegant and fun and made with love.
