I worked on the demonstration painting today - I removed all the miskit and began to define/detail the flowers. This has about 2 1/2 hours of work on it today. Time for bed!
Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

What fun! And what patience. It sure does take it out of the fast and loose paradigm!
BTW, my Mary Todd Beam book came on Monday! Am loving it all!
This is going to be so stunning!
Loved the start of this yesterday and it's even more beautiful today. All those white, ruffled edges are perfect! If I ever get a chance to push our watercolor society towards more artists outside the area, I would love to have you come down.
I love your style, Barb. This is very beautiful.
Wow, it's progressing beautifully.
Dee - so glad you received your book - it is addicting, I can tell you!
Yes - this is most certainly not "fast and loose!"
Thanks, Norena!
Thanks, Rhonda! It is a different take on the traditional floral painting - a little more on the stylized side.
Sometime it would be nice to come south to your group!
Christiane...thanks so much!
Carol - thanks for your positive comments and for visiting my blog.
