Bob The Train Clown

This is Bob, The Train Clown! The painting is complete!  It   is 10" x 8" and is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper.  (The spot light isn't really green - this is the way my camera reads it!)

He's awesome, Barb. I hate when the camera doesn't catch the color exactly as it is and I don't know how to fix that either.

Thanks,Carol. I guess the yellow I used has too much lemon yellow in it.

IF HE HAS TO MUCH YELLOW OR NOT ENOUGH, I THINK HE'S HANDSOME.

Some colors are harder to catch then others - you may need to change your white balance a bit. I like this - but I know some people are afraid of clowns. He doesn't look scary to me.

Rhonda...when I first started teaching in the 1960's, the students liked to do clowns...and then those weird horror movies came out and from that time on, kids were afraid of clowns and associated them with evil. What a shame! Some extreme religious groups have put that fear in people too. It is too bad.
