Well, here we are at day 29 - one more to go!
In today's work I went back to my first favorite painting subject - that of painting vintage trucks. This painting portrays the front of a 1938 Chevy pick-up truck. I am partial to the 1938 trucks since that is the year I was born. (smile!)
This painting is done on 100 lb. printmaking paper and is 6"x10". It is painted in transparent watercolor.

Great Painting Barb! It looks almost human!
Great painting. I stumbled upon your blog and wanted to comment that doing a creation a day is a pretty hefty commitment... one I admire, and shutter to try myself! Just wanted to know how you feel now that you have almost completed your mission... Did you enjoy it? Did you ever wish you hadn't started it?
Your work is wonderful. Great job!
Thanks Nancy - I am so pleased that you like this - and, yes - it does seem to have human characteristics - I guess it could be a sort of personification - giving human qualities to inanimate objects!
Lin,
Yes - it was a hefty commitment, but not as difficult as I anticipated. There were times that I was stretched to my limit - especially when life entered into it. Yes - I enjoyed it very much and have a strong feeling of accomplishment at having finished the challenge. No - I never wished that I hadn't started it. I was amazed at the quality of work that all the participants created during this time. Thanks for asking.
Barb
