The Diva's Challenge #192: Seton

After checking out the tangle of the week, Seton, I thought it was very "Art Deco" so I decided to go in that direction. I Googled "Art Deco" images and let them soak into my brain and then began my challenge tangle.  The longer I worked on it the more it became very intricate and more of a Zentangle Inspired Art than a Zentangle.  I had a lot of fun working on this one. I love Art Deco and it goes so well with Zentangle Inspired Art!

I worked on an 8"x 8" piece of mat board and used Micron-Pigma pens in .005, and.03.

Art Deco it definitely is :)
Most creative idea, and beautiful result.
Thank you also for sharing your creative process. I now remember that I followed similar process once or twice in the past.

A very intriguing design, Barbara. Your research was a success. A beautiful Tile. I like your Seton in a rectangular grid, and the Art Deco elements are terrific.

Kia, When I first saw "Seton" I immediately thought Art Deco - so from that time on, there was no question that I would use that for my theme in this one. Thank you for your comments and stopping by.

I have been looking at seton and the deco aspect...you're right very deco-y. Well rendered for that period. Also your yellow dahlia from Nov 7 is stunnnnnning!!!
