I just finished the painting that will be the lesson for the class I will teach Monday evening at the art center in Wapakoneta. This is from a photograph by a WatercolorWorkshop friend, Sue Drennan, who graciously allows me to use her photos as source pictures.
The painting is 9" x 12" and it is painted on Canson 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper.

Beautiful, Barb. Great details in the leaves and shadows on the petals.
Thanks, Christiane. It is hard to put shadows on yellow-orange (for me, anyway!)
