Zentangles for Thursday - Thoughts of Marcille

Today is a bad day.  We learned this morning that our sister-in-law passed away during the night.  She had been mostly unresponsive since a severe fall 2 weeks ago with severe brain injuries.  I finished the ironing and thought - well, I should do some painting, but my mind and body didn't really feel like painting.

I saw the paper chips that I always have around for Zentangles, and picked up the pen and started the meditative process of doing Zentangles...it is a very calming activity...one that I always enjoy, but more so today as I thought of my dear sister-in-law and all that she has meant to me and our family.  She was a loving wife and mother, one of the kindest people I have ever known and a real, gentle lady.  She will be missed.

My sympathies to you and your family on your loss. Art in any form is therapy.

Thank you for your kind thoughts, Lin...I have found art to be so very therapeutic...very consoling.
