Painting 27: "Presenting ..."The All-Stars!"

Last Wednesday I went to Michelle's where a group of us painted Julie's Converse All-Stars tennis shoes.  I had to finish it here in my studio because for me it was much more than a 4 hour painting.  I finished it last Friday, but since I was out of batteries for my camera, I am just now posting it!
The painting is oil on 8"x10" wrapped canvas.

I like seeing these shoes but not wearing them (no support at all!) but my granddaughters love them in all colors :) They would love these, too!

Hi Barb, I've just linked to your blog through Michelle's. It's a lot of fun to see her paintings and yours. Can't wait to see what you do next! I love the shoes, and love painting shoes. You have inspired me. So now, to join your blog. Debra

Rhonda - My son wore All-Stars in the 80's when he played basketball. I saw many old, smelly, Converse All Stars then. It brings back memories. I agree - no support!

Debra...Thank you so much for visiting and joining my blog... I have much fun painting with Michelle - it's amazing how different our styles are and we see the subject so differently. She is an awesome painter and a good friend - I love painting with her. Paint some shoes and send me a picture.
