Painting #28: "Red in the Morning"

This little (5" x 7") painting was created with a poured background and finished with negative painting and traditional painting techniques. The subject is entirely from my head, which hopefully excuses some of the flaws in perspective, etc

What fun! Our "head" stuff works, I am finding ... Lots of whimsy. Now I want to "read the book"! :-)

Dee...I found that in the past I was hesitant to do the "head" stuff, but have found that often it has the most creative outcomes - I guess I have to have more trust in my "head."
