Memories of Autumn

Well, I managed to complete another post card for the SWAP. It is 4" x 6" and is watercolor pencil on watercolor paper. This one is mostly out of my head from what I remember from a watercolor painting I saw on a calendar once and had in my art room sometime in the 1970's.  I loved the artist's work - he(?) painted landscapes of New England - usually with a lot of field stone fences and stark barns and buildings.  If anyone remembers who this artist might be - please comment.

I am so impressed that you created this gorgeous scene out of your head and from memory. It has a great glow. I hope that you are doing well and that your back is not giving you too much trouble. All the best for the Holiday Season.

It is so nice to read blogs on my laptop... I need to try to do it more often, as then I can EASILY make a comment!

I love this painting Barb... the lighting is wonderful! Still sending loving energy and healing vibes to you!

thanks Christiane...I am trying to keep busy - since I can't walk or do stairs right now - I am rather limited by medium and size...postcard size is wonderful! :) Thanks for your concern - as long as i remember to take my meds, the pain isn't too bad - I am anxious to get it over.
