This is my answer to the X-Did challenge for The Diva's Challenge, #183. It is 6" x 6" and is done on good white drawing paper. I used Micron-Pigma pens and I shaded with pastels and Prismacolor colored pencils.
Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

This is an awesome Tile, Barbara. Love how you used X-Did as a single element and again as a strip repeating element. Perfect execution of the patterns. Your color shading is amazing. Beautiful work, I love it.
Thank you so much, David! I found this tangle to be sort of daunting and difficult to use in a tangle - thus the single element first and the rest came along later. I appreciate your comments - they are always so encouraging!
Agree wholeheartedly with David's comments. Like the colors. Saw your elephants on the post before. They are fantastic. I would never attempt something like that.
And my answer to you is: WOW!!!!!
Love the way you did X-Did and the coloring is perfect.

Crazy different. I like how you used the tangle as the string and then just worked in elements. Love the use of color. I might have to get some of those pens! (You're not helping my budget)
Love your use of color. Very pretty tile.
Wow !
I'm impressed on how beautiful you composed your x-did, and layered it in the drawing. Very creative, and masterfully done. Colors - beautiful
