Welcome to Barb's Daily Creations! I have lofty ambitions - I want to post a new drawing or painting every day. The purpose of this, of course is to stay creative and on task artistically even when I may not feel the muses calling, prodding and pushing. I hope that you enjoy my humble efforts, because, ultimately, that is the purpose of creating art - to enrich lives - mine and yours. Thanks for visiting!
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.

Bugles: the Weekly Challenge #170 from the "I Am The Diva" Blog
This is the first time I have done a Zentangle for the I Am The Diva Weekly Challenge. Each week, a tangle is selected as the subject of the weekly challenge. This week it is "Bugles" by Joyce Evans. The objective is to design a tangle composition using the challenge tangle. I got a little carried away with this one - lots of linear work - I feel this could be simplified and be a lot better. Well - at least I am getting my feet wet!

I like it a lot, especially how you've used bugle is different ways.
Fantastic! I almost missed the Bugles in the leaves. Such great exture there. And I love the free swing of the lines that suggest the path of flight.
Kia,
Thank you for your comments and for visiting my blog.
Thanks, Jennifer!
Yes - the Bugles are a little hidden in the leaves. I used the lines to pull the composition together and am happy that you picked up on that element. I am not certain how lines like those fit into traditional Zentangle, though. I haven't been Zentangling very long and don't really know the guidelines.
This is fabulous Barb. So intricate but pulls you in and along so well.
