The Old Buzzard House on County 13

I finished this painting this evening - it is the painting we will be doing at our Monday evening class this week at Riverside Arts Center in Wapakoneta, Ohio.  The source of this painting is a photograph which I took this summer.  I previously  painted a  different view of this old house earlier this fall for the September project of Watercolor Workshop.  The painting is 11" x 14" and is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed Fabriano-Artistico watercolor paper.

Nicely done, Barb. I can see the character of the old house plainly.

I do love those colors, Barb. And each time I read the title I think, "Are there old buzzards living in that house? Or is the house called Old Buzzard?" ha ha

Thanks, Carol...this old house does have a lot of character - I am happy I was able to capture it.

Thanks, Rhonda - I call it the old buzzard house because the day my friend Pamela and I went taking photographs, it had an old buzzard sitting on the roof and that is what Pamela named it! :)
