"Just a Shell"

This is my daily creation today - the "shell" of an old pick-up truck left to rust away in a remote field somewhere.  The painting is 5" x 7" and is painted on 140 lb. Fabriano-Artistico cold-pressed watercolor paper.  You know I love vintage trucks and this is just one in a long series of truck paintings.  I found a small picture of this truck on the internet, don't know who posted it, so I will not attempt to show this in galleries or to sell it...you might say I just did it because I love vintage trucks and for the experience of painting it!!!

Hello Barb, I've just come across your Blog via my friend Joan Sandford Cook's blog. Love the trucks! I'm trying a sketch a day for my blog but somehow it only works for me in a book. Your blog is inspiring, I'll nip across from the UK to Ohio when I'm flagging!

Hi Sandra...I am so happy you have visited my blog. I apologize for the lack of posts this week - I have been working on several commissions and have been badly neglecting my own work.
I love the trucks also - I can guarantee there will be more! :)
